if the bluegill grows at the same rate as the rd they will be fine together, bgs are freaking ballsy as are the green sunfish which are total killers

I agree! My BG is has attempted to bully around the Largemouth Bass that is around the same size as he is. Sometimes I see the Largemouth Bass doa weird dance like , he opens his mouth real wide and starts to swing from side to side and then the BG backs off. But that little war dance doesn't seem to affect him so much now, sometimes the BG just turns around and pushes him away .

So yeah.....he's ballsy!:headbang2

I am not one to be calling myself an expert of any sort when it comes to classification, but those two pics do not look like Bluegills to me. I say its definetly a Sunfish or some sort, but not a BG. I could be wrong!!!!

So I will let the experts throw in their two cents.

Yeah that is some type of sunfish, not a bluegill.
