Tarpons and Tiger

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the kind words. As you may have noticed I've added an armatus to the mix. He is the most aggressive fish in the tank (with one exeption). Before the army there was hardly a scale missing on anybody, now almost everyone including the army is missing a few scales. Not to bad but the Indo Tarpons are getting the bulk of the aggression, they make nice dither fish. The most aggressive one in the tank has got to be the 5 spot cichlid, the only one not missing scales and fits right in with the big boys. I believe that if the 5 spot was 10" to 12" like the others it would be the only thing surviving, his small size of 5" keeps him in check and he doesn't really bother anybody else. I'll post pics every month or so. Thanks again.

My Armatus is starting to get more aggressive now. I need to pick out some dithers for him, but im picky lol I still want something colourful to add to the tank.

what's in the tank? I'm starting to notice that my armatus likes to chase around my red wolf occaisionally.

Right now just him and one of my sons fish killing platy's lol I got mad the platy kept eating all the eggs from the breeding tetras and white clouds, so I figured she could get a taste of her own medicine. Theres another platy in my sons tank too, but she doesnt cause any trouble. Im honestly suprised the one in the army tank is still alive and well. Missing some scales but thats it so far.
