really armatus i got them from my local LFS... not a site lol and the guy i bought it from said he had no clue and even called it a saber tooth baracuda lmao..

i can tell because of adipose color.
this is my armatus and tat ,you can tell by bright orange adipose ,

Need better picture of the tail of the fish in first pic, but both most likely are Scombs. The one in second pic is def. a Scomb.

great i actually wanted a scomb casue they only max at 1foot how fast do they grow casue there gonna be in a tank with peacock bass ive never had any probs with them cept once when i was feeding then feeders casue my "scombs" dont eat anything else. the smaller peacock bass charged at a feeder at the same time so did the scomb the scombs teeth when into the peacock basses upeer jaw and the peacock basses mouth went into the payaras head but then they let go wierd enough there was no puncture wounds in the peacock basses head and the same for the scomb. lol it was funny should have recorded it.

Scombs don't top out at a foot. They get huge in the wild. They DIE at or before a foot.Made me upset raising two lil fellers from 2 inches to around 7 then having them both just up and die for no apparent reason.
