I am heavily inked but, not to the point of where it stands out in a business enviroment. My tattoos have meaning and everyone has been considered for a year prior to getting it(personal rule). My only regret is my wedding tattoo because I put the wrong date.(7th instead of 9th) But, I can live with that. On the other hand, my brother has a large chested seniorita on his forearm and, his kids are constantly asking him who it is considering his wife is blonde and blue eyed!

How mad was your now ex-wife when you came home with that?!

sorry if you've already seen some of these. I know the last one comes close to veering off topic, but can we just talk a min. about the permanent damage from some whack peircings.

Ive got about 12hours of work myself. All hidden and only shown to my choosing. My ink is like a timeline. Whenever I have a life altering goal and I reach it, I give myself a meaningful tattoo to remember that point in my life.

People ask me questions about my ink all the time. I tell them pick what and where you want it, then wait an entire year to see if you still want it. If by that time you still want it then get it but theres no issue in waiting, its not like the possibility is going to go away...

Had I not waited a year I would have had some fugly ink!

I'm planning on having some work done when I have money. I'm thinking about saving up and trying to get some done as a college graduation present to myself (that gives me like 2.5 years). I have a half sleeve (shoulder to just above the elbow) designed and partially drawn out. I actually kind of have an idea to extend it to a full sleeve, but I'm hesitant about committing to something that might require me to wear long sleeves all the time in certain environments. I came up with and drew a partial draft of it two years ago, then drew out a better, more complete draft last year and I've been slowly working on adding in the color. The stuff it represents, I can pretty much assure I will never be ashamed of/regret and since the design still seems like just as good of an idea as it did two years ago, I really plan to go through with it when I have funds...
