They are their own species. I think because they are so rare different places have different names for them.If you have a search for a grey ghost knife though there is no info anywhere. He was labelled as a "white" black ghost knife in the shop I purchased him from. Just a different colour morph I guess.

I'd say treat them like bgk. Most South American Knife grow a foot or less so you should probably expect that.I see, do they grow as large? Do you have any more info on them? I've been treating him like he was a bgk

[Edit] They might be very sensitive like brown knife fish so check params closely.
