tell me more about my "pink" black ghost knife

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice and thanks, we have a basic d3000 and have no clue how to use it properly, the girlfriend is now on maternity leave so hopefully we can get to grips with it soon!-) Thanks for sharing.

sorry bit of a derail here! ive read about this, and the flash above the tank. currently i find myself not using the flash and then only the small light on the camera works pretty well thanks for you help!-)

If you have a search for a grey ghost knife though there is no info anywhere. He was labelled as a "white" black ghost knife in the shop I purchased him from. Just a different colour morph I guess.

They are their own species. I think because they are so rare different places have different names for them.

I see, do they grow as large? Do you have any more info on them? I've been treating him like he was a bgk

I'd say treat them like bgk. Most South American Knife grow a foot or less so you should probably expect that.
[Edit] They might be very sensitive like brown knife fish so check params closely.

If they are to treat it as a BGK then I'd say to expect up to 16" as BGK can reach that with ease. Very cool looking fish regardless of the size it grows though! Look forward to seeing updates of this fish!
