Last week I broke down the 75 I have Phsyco my RD in because it started to leak, it's over 17 years old. I brought Phsyco to my buddy that owns the LFS and asked him to keep him in his 265 display tank which he did. So every couple of days I stop in to check on him. Each time I go in the staff is telling me he killed a JD or he killed a GT but they really liked the way he flaired at anyone that got near the tank and they all took turns feeding him. The 90 I ordered will be in Tuesday. Today I went in and he's GONE! I'm thinking WTF where is he? So I find the guy that manages the place when my friend isn't there and asked him, where's Physco? He says what do you mean he was there yesterday! Turns out one of the new salesmen sold him! SOLD HIM FOR $15.00!!! The fish in the display aren't for sale so he sells him for the 2" price a 9" RD! NFW I'm beside myself, I said call (my buddy) you find that fish and get him back now! I don't want another fish I want Physco, so find him! After finding the recept doing a Google search and paying $19.95 they got the guys phone number and address. My buddy that owns the store is going to get him. If anybody doesn't know who Physco is here's a picture. He is the coolest, meanest, nasty SOB you ever wanted to own, but I love this guy.

Wow...hope you get that guy back.

How are you going to get him back? What happens with the new(b) employee?

wow that really sucks. That is a risk you take when you bring a fish to a LFS. People want to buy everything especially the display fish. But the staff should know to say that its an insane price like 10X normal asking price for display. Some are willing to pay it.

I would be pissed too. That's not right I hope you get him back. That's like leaving your dog at the kennel and then the staff sells him. Not cool!

Fingers crossed you get the fish back.

Actually not to nit pick but a kennel is just for storing your dog and cat while your away, its more like bringing your dog to a breeder to watch, then have them sell it.

Besides selling him the other thing I'm worried about is what kind of tank is he in, what's the water like, is he going to get sick? Did he get thrown in a 20 gallon or a tank with a 16" Dovii that's owned the tank for ever? I can't stop thinking of all the yahoos out there that don't have a clue as to what their doing! All the threads on here about moronic combnations of fish "in my 55". I'm really worried. This is sucking more and more.
