The teen was invited inside the home, doesnt matter if the dad invited him in or not. You not going to get away with hiting a kid with a pipe.

What he should have done was scare the **** out of that kid. You know it wouldnt be hard. Then kick him out butt naked with no phone and let his bare ass walk home.

This daughter has alot of nerve letting him into her bedroom.... whew..that is taking the big chance knowing Daddys down the hall....

I don't care if the daughter invited him in, that is still trespassing. The father owns the house, not the daughter. The teen is trespassing on his property. I do not know why the father was charged with anything.

So he should have hit his daughter with the pipe?

How did you come up with that statement?

He defended his home, he was not aware there was a man IN HIS HOME. The daughter he knew about. How he chooses to discipline his daughter is his own choice. I'm not going there.

I never even said he should or should not have attacked the teen! All I stated was that he should not have been charged, AS THE PERSON WAS TRESPASSING.

So, do you think he should have hit the teen? Lets say he "learns his lesson", and next time a male teenager is in his home, uninvited, in the middle of the night, he simply lets him be. And then gets his head blown off with a shotgun, because that teen was in fact burglarizing his home. But at least he didn't hurt the guy :screwy:

Woah, relax, I thought the sarcasm would ooze from my post.

He hit the kid in the head, and caused him to need staples....Had he gave him a gut punch, I do not think it would be a big deal..Head injuries are serious...He could have easily killed the boy. He is being punished because he went too far, not because he was not in the right ;)
