Temensis

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They look healthy! What kind of growth do you typically get from them? I am not sure yet when I will get mine but I wanted to experiment with alligator meat as a feeding option. It appears to be the highest protein fleshy food around, super lean on fat but dense protein. Don't know if fish can digest it though, but I assume if they can it could be a super food and provide extreme growth. bassinmike85 bassinmike85

Normally with temensis, min 1-2"+ a month. Depending on water and diet etc. I am not familiar with alligator meat as a food source for fish, So i can't give an opinion on it lol.

What temperature do you keep them at? Just curious I’m trying to grow some out and have not been having very good luck. Thinking about trying some higher temps like 85-86

bassinmike85 bassinmike85 add escuelapiscicultura in your instagram account, I have had 3 succesful breeding by Cichla orinocensis using CPG, I thought it was enough. And then share a video of my breeding tank display, because is so heavy to share for this MFK media.

how it going? i don't have IG or FB anymore. appreciate you. i have bred cichla in the past. but temensis are
more challenging.pure temensis they won't sexually mature until up to 3 years.

It's the time to get the pool up and running for the temensis. finally cleared out the space.
