I was feeling pretty guilty, because she had out grown her tank. I am going to build her a nice big pond in the basement family room, but I don't want to rush it trying to get her into it too soon. So I bought her a 20 dollar pool.
everything was going well until I broke the heater at 9:30pm. Never again will I do major work when all of the good fish stores are closed. Luckily Wally-junk-Mart was open. I ended up having to buy 3 little 200 watt heaters that I can't tell if they are submersible, so I used a basket to mount them on. It looks ugly, but it works. The worst part is that those heaters are not sufficient for my pond, and I hate buying things twice.
I have two eheim filters working in the pond for the moment. and a couple of little air pumps. I think I have enough surface aggitation.
I put down some ceramic tile, that I had left over from a job, to protect the bottom. I did this when I had a submersible heater.
She is eating, but not as aggressivly as she was before I invaded her surroundings.
I undstand most of you know much more than I do, so I would gladly accept some constructive critasism.
