I bought some heater covers and submerged the heaters. I also took out the tile, because she cut herself on something. I added some filter material that cover the pump intakes so the sand would not get sucked through the filters.

She seems to be getting more comfortable. I say this because she is swimming around alot more instead of hiding in the sand.

one of the wands is pointing towards the surface. she really likes to lay ontop of it.

What sits under that floor?! Is that the basement (doubtful with the window in the background)? If not, have you checked the weight stress? As they said - you got balls to put that pool on a hardwood floor.
 
shouldn't the inlets/outlets of the filters be at a certain height above the top of the filter? something about overworking/possibly burning out your pump. i had a floor setup once with an xp3 and someone gave me a warning of how my filter could've burned out.
