White Perch is a different species than White Bass. I looked up White Perch and they are not found in MN either.

ah this is why i am confused because it looks just like a whipper, half white perch and half striper.

Apparently white perch are found in the Great lakes. The are considered invasive in Lake Superior and apparently eat a lot of fish eggs.

I really don't eat any fish that I catch. I like to put a nice fish back in the lake. If I want to eat fish, I'll buy some walleye, tilapia, or catfish. They are all delicious because they don't taste like fish. They taste like breading, grease, and mayo. I like breading, grease and mayo. I don't like fish.
