It's at 72 right now and he seems to be doing quite well. I'll leave at that temp for now. Thanks guys.

I know I'm going off my original topic but I've noticed that my LMB only feeds at night. The goldfish will swim right by him when the lights are on. When I check on the tank in the morning the feeders are gone. Just seems a little weird because I caught him during the day. Just thinking out loud..

He reacts to me aleady when I'm close to the tank. He gets excitied and follows me as I walk by or move around.

temps good bass are not very needy of light they like cover and weeds in dark places and stuff do you have enough cover for the guy he might be a little stressed out
just an idea, i had a a few footlong lmb in a 100 gallon that i caught out of the brook and put them in for a day or two just to look at what they did and stuff and i rarely saw them eat what i put in there

My bass does that when there are a lot of people in my room looking at him. When its just me and him he puts on a feeding show.

My bluegills on the other hand don't care if anybody is looking at them even if it is a 20 pound Northern Pike. They always put on a great feeding show.

my bass hammers anything i put in the tank except pellets, he tried to get a feeder and knocked clear out of the tank onto the floor

I havent tried feeding him pellets yets. Do they take to pellets easy?
