My tank is 200 gallons with a 80 gallon sump. The top of the tank is all closed off with no openings. The sump is open top inside the stand. I am running air wands in the bio chamber for aeration and a submersible pump in a separate chamber. My problem is the pump keeps the water at 90 degrees. I have no room in the setup to run an external pump. All of my rays seem happy along with my datnoids. What effects will 90 degree water have long term on my rays? I know rays like warmer water but 90 seems way to high to me. Current pump is 3400 gph. I could down size but then I will lose turn over rate. Any thoughts?
