Think of all the specialty tanks you could do. Puffer tanks, Dat tanks, schooling tanks, individual cichlid tanks by area, invert tanks, brackish tanks So many different backgrounds and aquascapes! Each tank could have it's own personality!

I'm with this, the fact that each tank could have it's own something special would be amazing! Each a different set up, each with something new to look at. Plus I don't think I could ever maintain a tank that size. I'm use to water changing Sundays so that wouldnt be that issue.

Then the fact that I would have to basically renovate the house wouldn't work at all. I'd rather have 10 100s in 10 separate rooms of the house.

I voted for 10 100g tanks..WHY?!?!?Because with more tanks, you have more options to play around with.........You can breed, you can biotope, you can school, you can showcase...........

It doesn't work that way around here. Sorry bout that, you must be in the wrong forum.
And NO, no (decent) mod here would ever kick of members here just because they don't have large tanks.

Being a MFK is not about tank size, But how much are you into the hobby
you need to calm down cowboy cause none of that was meant literally. :screwy:

I say 1,000G cause its my monster tank i dream of in the future..but 100G tanks would be kinda cool..but a 1,000G tank you could do some cool things with.

I would go with 3 x 333. I like variety and 333 is big enough house anything I would consider having.

+ a 1G super nano. :D

This topic could be the fishroom in the garage or basement debate vs the one large tank in your living room that everyone sees or is like a family pet that lives in one tank in the house.

As for me I would take the 1000 gallon fish tank and have it set up in my living room so that it could be seen by everyone one. if I had a big enough living room for it my pet Goldfish who live in a 75 gallon tank would really like something like that.

As for the idea of having ten 100 gallon tanks in a fishroom in a basement or a garage I kind of wouldn't enjoy them like I would having one main 1000 gallon tank.
