ten 100gal tanks or one 1000gal tank?

Up until a couple weeks ago I had the following tanks setup and running. 450g, 180g, 125g, 120g 2x 40g, 2x 29g 2x 20g and a 10g. Would have glady traded all those tanks for a sinlge 1000 gallon tank.

Would it be cheaper to run ten 100 gallon tanks or one 1000 gallon tank?

I wounder would cost be a factor in it too?

I'd go with a 750 and a 250, I too get bored of fish quickly. But the 750 would be the main tank and the 250 would be turn over fish tank. Funny thing is if I had a 250 tht would be my main tank!

I'm with this, the fact that each tank could have it's own something special would be amazing! Each a different set up, each with something new to look at. Plus I don't think I could ever maintain a tank that size. I'm use to water changing Sundays so that wouldnt be that issue.

Then the fact that I would have to basically renovate the house wouldn't work at all. I'd rather have 10 100s in 10 separate rooms of the house.

I'd choose the 1000g tank just because of space restriction.
