tenecor called me today. they are figuring out a solution. im glad to hear from them and i hope they make it right for me.
 
Nice! Make sure you explain how you could not get in touch with anybody, and you would like a direct number to call someone when you want to. Lack of communication only makes things much worse. Glad this seems to be working out. For those who suggested calling your credit card company and filing a dispute, at this point Tenecor would have a chargeback against their account and money taken from them, and would be much less likely to offer assistance in any way until you cancel it and the money is returned. Now at least you have not pissed them off and hopefully an amicable solution is forthcoming. Good luck.
 
i never thought to ask for a refund at this point in time. i was going to give a week to see if anyone would respond. i just want Tenecor to make things right. if they are doing that right now, then id appreciate that. quality control is never 100% in anything thats manufactured and will sometimes have flaws. its a matter of the manufacturer taking responsibility of their product and make it right. maybe this is a turn around for tenecor! i should know shortly.

They're figuring out a solution....seems simple to me...a brand new tank.

I hope this one turns out as a win. I'm a tenecor owner and I'm tired of seeing threads like this. I really want to see them get back on the ball.
 
It's unbelievable to me that people tolerate this sort of thing from tenecor. I've heard from enough people to know I would never even consider ordering a new tank from them. I would just get my money back and order from a GOOD tank builder, I've been really impressed with Envision Acrylics. I emailed the company, and within a couple hours the owner emailed me back and even invited me to come by and get a personal tour of the facility (they are here in the NW) because I simply asked for a quote for a tank size! And their quality makes tenecor look bad...
Anyway, there's a number of GOOD companies out there I'd rather give my money to.
 
I don't see this turning out well for you, simply because it's Tenecor. They could easily say you caused that after you received the tank. And because you accepted the shipment, you also accepted the condition the tank was in, which according to them will be 100% perfect. I hope I'm wrong though, for your sake.
