TENECOR OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

For those of you in the UK that have bought tenecor tanks by credit card or visa debit cards I suggest you go to your bank and use the Consumer Credit Act to your advantage should your tenecor aquarium ever develop a fault within the paid for guarantee period.
By law a your credit card company now picks up the tab for any repairs and guarantees that came with your aquarium, I'm positive it is similar with visa debit cards regarding guarantees but just speak to your bank.
If you have ordered a tenecor tank but they have gone out of business before you have received it then, again, speak to your credit card company about the clause in the Consumer Credit Act that makes the card issuer responsible for the sale and for those who paid by visa debit, just speak to your bank about doing a charge back.

im glad this happened!!! serves them right for giving poor service and even worst products!!! however, im not glad for those people that left money with tenecor. i feel bad/sorry for those that have outstanding service/goods on order with them.
my decision to sell that 300 gal was the right choice. even though i did keep that tank, there would be no warranty anyways!!!

Interesting fact: Tenecor was bought out from the owner that was driving it into the ground about 3 or 4 years ago. It's about the time the product quality went up. There was a big turn around about 2 years ago (for awhile). I wonder what happend.
I was looking into getting a 70 gal from them because I've been happy with my 150 Tenecor gal and my goldfish need a tank, but their webpage was so badly messed up the prices list didn't show up. This is when the bad service came in, I mailed them and they never responded. Which seems messed up as I was looking into potentially purchasing an aquarium from them. Who turns away customers like that?.
I order a 620 gallon July 18th from tenecor threw fish tanks direct in which I did not receive the tank until November 3rd . That makes it over 15 weeks after I ordered the tank to when I went to pick it up. It would have been 16 weeks if i would have waited on the freight company to deliver it to my door. On top of all of that the tank did not have the plumbing it was suposed to have the back of the tank was suposed to be covered with a sheet of black acrylic but instead had vinyl on the back, the seams were sloppy and even worse than that the tank was packaged poorly and had been damaged during shipping and one of the bottom corners had a big chunk broken off and small chips and scratches in different locations on the tank.
I am very fortunate John at fish tanks direct was able to freeze my money.
I have now ordered a titan aquatic exibits 620 threw John .
If everything goes well I should finally have my tank in four weeks.

sad news with tenecor but glad you went with titanaquatic as well!!! i ordered my new 300 gal from them as well and it should be arriving at the end of next week!!!
Thanks Brian at Titanaquatic mentioned your name to me the other day we were talking about what stock I was planning on keeping in my tank when I mentioned rays he told me to check u out if I was looking to buy some which I will once I get the tank setup.
John at fishtanksdirect that I ordered the tank from talked to me about using Titan and explained to me their background .
After talking with John I looked Titan aquatics up and spoke with Brian myself after verifying what John had told me I was set on Titan building the tank.
I still ordered my tank threw fish tanks direct because they are the one's that saved me from Tenecore in the first place. They froze my money from tenecor, they told me about the problems tenecor was having . If not for John I would be out alot of cash.
