Good; we are still talking about eating fish!
Ah, Sunset Cliffs-- How many times had I almost lost my life there... Lost my virginity on Fiesta Island though (well, I didn't lose it I gladly threw it away). My Dad and I dove for abalone almost everywhere because it was'nt popular back then, like tri-tip or ketamine. We pryed them from Mission Bay Channel to Bird Rock. Our back yard fence in Mission Hills was so covered with ab shells it looked like an ashtray store. All fish guts were burried and we had a super vegetable garden and landscape plants.
Mackerel type fish like baracuda and bonita have a pretty acidy taste and are best cooked w/ tomatos to neutralize it. A good way is in the oven: cover the fillets with sliced, tomatos, then monterey Jack cheese and finally cashews and whatever else your munchy driven apetite dictates and bake uncovered for awhile.
hahahah rock on PEAcock. hahah. jk
