Terry Cullen's animals seized: sad and infuriating

wow, saw this in the paper today. i think i've seen that guy before, he was on an episode of snakebytes tv because he was at some expo, holding a chinese crocodile and promoting conservation and stuff. sad to hear the animals were mistreated, if the story is actually valid, which is not always the case... just another story increasing everyones fear of exotic animals and reptiles.
 
thats a blow for the hobby:(
now they are gonna try and use that to bull dog some legislation im sure
 
this is just too sad, a respected man with some amazing animals turns out to be what this hobby really did not need
I think there must be something more to it like substance abuse and the obvious hoarding issue where he just couldnt keep up with the work load but did not slow down in numbers
a shame really
 
Everyday their a new story of our nations police force showing their incompetence. Shooting dogs that even bark at strangers seems to be the new procedure.
 
Well after reading the 2nd article, it seems the cops were executing a search warrant as part of an investigation into a sexual assault complaint, although they did not publicly identify the target of the sexual assault allegation.

Either way, it also states that the animals in the flat were supposedly kept in pretty awful conditions with mold/fungus growing on a lot of the animals... now since i don't personally know who this Terry Cullen is i'm not judging him, but it does make you wonder how much of it is really true...
 
Even if the animals were horribly neglected, I have a hard time believing the floor was CARPETED in rodents.
 
true. And terry runs a bunch of places right? he might not even been to this place for awhile. seems like that lady was running this perticular facility.
