Here it is...

87x87x36 = 1179g...

Permabas+drylok bottom.
87x36x1/2" glass
GE Silicone I Window and Door

Everything looked fine when we taped it off and it didnt seem like we needed much tape... a few hours later i noticed part of the glass wasnt completely butted up against the other... do you think this is going to cause a problem for me?

I've got a 55g that has some air bubbles between the glass, but not as much as this one.

I still need to frame it all in before filling...

umm... supports? centre bracing? thats gonna blow

yeh im noit sure that 12mm will suport tha tank of that weight but its wortha shot. btw thoose air bubbles will be big enoughtfo the panel to blow also are you sure the silicone your using is fish safe???????? from what i know if it contains fungicides it will kill ur fish so a) look to see if it says contains / doesnt contain fungicides and b) see if it says it can be used for aquariums. if it says it works for glass it sdoesnt mean anythibng

btw ur tank is 36 inch tall the place i work at wont build 3x3x3 tanks outtaanything other then 3/4 inch and cuz we dont stock that glass we dont make em.umm also i recomend king a full alluminium or stainless frame that supports teh corners top (wrapin round both side panel and top of tank and bottom that sits againts one part of the side panel and then welding

Silicone 1 windows and doors is the most used silicone. I think it is just the kitchen and bath ones that have the fungicides. It has been stated that the "not safe for aquarium use" is strictly an anti-lawsuit warning.

We don't recommend any of our products for underwater submersion, but some aquarium manufacturers do choose to use our products on glass to glass aquariums. The products they use most often are RTV108 or IS808. These are industrial grade products. Our consumer grade (this means they would be found at Home Depot or a local hardware store) offset to these industrial grade products is GE012A (Window and Door Silicone I).

with that thin of glass i would have added support throughout the middle, but if you went with 3/4" it wouldnt be needed. Also you need to fix that joint or the tank will most likely blow when you fill it up, than you will be outa a good amount of $$$
