Every one I have ever talked to has told me canon is the only camera worth buying they are made better and have better lenses available. This is coming from all the professional photographers we talked to about doing my wedding in June. I asked every one of them what I should buy and for my price range they all told me the same camera. A Canon.
Those are some nice pix and I was just looking for more input from a Nikon owner. I was just told that I would be happier with a canon.

It just a personal preference. I had a choice between a Canon 40D/50d Vs a Nikon d80. I went with the Nikon. My buddy is a pro and he shoots with a Canon. Guess which camera he told me to get? The Nikon.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I noticed that Canon's body cost more but lens are cheaper to buy. When holding both camera's the Nikon feels a lot better. But some will tell you the Canon feels better. It all comes down to what people prefer.
But honestly, you cant go with wrong with either brand.
