Got a few more pics. I was surprised he didn't swim away from me. He's quite shy.
Damn that is cool, the only time my wife will go with me in the lfs is when i force her to go, but she stays in the car tho.I hate to admit this, but my wife came with me and picked this one out. She's pretty cool about my fishkeeping.

No. He's about 3" though, maybe 3.5". I need him to get a little more girth before I but him in the 210.
I really likethe patterns.pretty unique looking.So I came across this little fella yesterday and he followed me home

Very different patterning than my first teugelsi, who has now moved into the 180g. About 4.5 " . Still settling in to the QT, so I hope to get better shots as the week progresses.

The original dark teug is getting settled in the 180g. A bit shy and pouty on day 1, but ate yesterday and was swimming at the front pane after lights out. Hopefully she'll adjust back to her sociable self in due course.

Wow thats a beautiful teug. It has more red in it than mine when i first picked her up. And really cool patterns.
I love that everyone is getting teugs here lately. You're definitely making me want to get another one! Haha
Fun Fact : These were called polypterus sp. Cameroon before officially described Teugelsi in 2004. Gives you an idea how new they are to the hobby.
