What are you using for a divider? What is that piece of plastic from or really for? And where did you find it? I had to make a divider this weekend out of plexiglass and it sucked to drill holes everywhere.

Home Depot sells AC grates that make excellent dividers. You can usually get the size you need with little to no added cutting needed.

interesting... I saw another video that had something similar to this and the guy said he got it at home depot. He called it a light diffuser though... Either way, looked identical to this, and looked like it worked more efficiently then my plexi. Thanks!

Yeah they work too. I think a lot more people use them actually. Honestly, whenever I'm at home depot I always see something that is meant for a specific task that I could easily use for the care of my fish and tanks. A lot of things that pet stores sell at expensive prices can be bought far cheaper at hardware stores. That goes for substrate, plumbing, and many other things.

It's light diffuser from Home Depot, it cost about $10 for 2'x4' sheet.

I still want that tex, lol. They look great.
I'm probably going to keep him now. I got a new tank for the YH over the weekend. So Tex has this tank to himself now. The only reason I wanted to get rid of him was because I didn't have a tank to keep him solo.

Here's a quick one of the YH's new tank. He lived with several pictus cats before but this one is still a baby so I guess he looks tasty. He's a quick little bugger, hopefully he makes it. I added more wood to give him places to hide but this YH is determined to catch him. There is plenty of free swimming space in the tank but he spends most of his time in the wood near the cat and little african munchies.

Nice little vid. I need to put some light sand in my yellow heads tank. Its bare bottom right now and he stays darker. Does yours move that sand around a lot? I am worried about filter intakes....
