I caught both of this fish , the cichlid is 7" inchs and the bass is bout' 6" inchs, if had them for 5 or 6 months , im feeding them gold fish . i feed the them as much as they can eat . will this make my bass grow huge?? and are this two fish ,same tank compatable ???? any thoughts???

need to feed pellets, better for the fish

compatability wise they should be fine in a large enough tank but be aware your bass will get huge and therefore need a similarly huge tank, and look at their poo if it is white/clear/stringy they need to be treated for parasites which they most likely already had since they are wc but then after you treat them for parasites you need to try to get them onto another food as goldfish have almost no nutritional value at all and are mainly just fat, try to get them onto a pellet as their staple like massivore as a pellet will provide the best balanced diet and then mix it up with crickets, earthworms, and other fish besides goldfish that you have quarantined like minnows from the bait shop, just make sure that any fish you dont breed yourself is quarantined for 2 weeks and you have seen it poo a consistently normal color GOOD LUCK with your future monsters native tanks can be really fun :)

I've caught 22" large mouth before he was only 4lbs 11oz not sure of max size but I think they can reach 10lbs. A source I found online had growth charts and said the 22" fish was probably around 10yrs old.

i have been having them in a 10 gal but thats bout' to change im getting a 65 gal, is that big enough ? im looking to make a 5 lb+ bass , how can i make that happen?
