so Lowland a.k.a Pearl-scaled a.k.a. Green Texas is your vote? Is the size of the spots the only way to tell? I saw a "Texas" at a LFS recently, the back half was like black or dark grey while the front half looked just like normal Texas/Lowland profile....big huge abrupt color change for some reason. Never seen it before.Looks like carpintis to me.cyannoguttatus has much smaller spots.

Is that another species of Heterichthys?.....or just a sub-species of carpintis or cyannoguttatus?
