Texas cichlid thread

my chap when I first got him, he was very thin! and is sloooowly fattening up, his belly was very concaved! but is now almost flat...he refuses to eat any pellets at all, and instead picks at all the bits the others spit out, and even follows some of them around and eats their poop as they go! :irked:

Hey guys wish I could take credit for raising this fella. Not my fish just saw this guy on a Facebook page I am on. Sadly died recently but apparently 30cms high and 14 yrs old. And i know Any Texas lover would love to see this

Don't take this the wrong way (actually wait there's really no other way to take it), but that Green Texas looks ugly as... way too lumpy and kinda disgusting actually. Imo. I think a nice Green Texas or Texas or Red Texas or whatever should have a more elongated body than a stocky body, makes them look so much more agile and magnificent.

But hey to each their own I guess. :P
