Texas cichlids massacre

I just got a new tank, so i added arround 20 goldfish to get the filter started. I got impatient cuz goldfish r really boring so i decided to add 3 texas cichlids. 2 days ago i noticed a big goldfish floating on the surface of the water not moving. I was wondering why it had died. Today I wake up n i see a goldfish on the gravel DESTROYED!... no eyes, no tail and a huge hole in the stomac! Then I see my cichlids coming near it and eating it! I knew they wear aggresive but damn! They're 2 times smaller than the goldfish... Any1 else had this problem?!

You put Texas in w/GF and wonder why the GF died?????

Please tell me you don't work for NASA....

as u no im new wit all this stuff and i didnt no cichlids were that aggressive specially that the goldfish were 2 times bigger than them...
btw if i wanted to work for nasa i'd prolly have a shot... i'm going for my phd in biochemistry just for ur info

godda love juvie cichs, when in small number they hunt in packs, makes for great viewing!
