i have seen fish labled flowerhorn that consist of no trimac. like you said it is a huge contributer. BUT!, thats like saying every fish mixed with a labiatus is a parrot. so any fish labeled parrot is a red devil hybrid, so if i cross a labiatus to a texas is it still a parrot?

I get your point. Not knowing the true origins of these hybrids, parrots, FH, etc. makes it difficult to say "That, is a Fh, or That is a parrot." But, calling everything under the sun that isn't a pure strain a FH isn't going to help the cause. I'm sure this is one of the reasons Purists hate hybrids, and everything to do with them. You never really know what you are getting.
