I think the ad exemplifies what MFK is about. We welcome keepers of all types of fish. The reason this forum is so great is because it is easy to find someone that enjoys the same fishkeeping experience. That could be Arowanas, Peacock Bass, Discus, Natives, livebearers, or pond fish. As a community, we may not always agree on a subject, but our diversity both in fishkeeping and in life is what makes MFK a great place to come to meet someone with the same passion that you have. If you don't like hybrids, don't visit that forum. We have a place for every fishkeeper. Your favorite fish may be the next ad and there will be people that don't enjoy that fish on the forum. We don't discriminate, we appreciate the passion that we have for the fish we keep and respect other members even if they don't share the same passion.

Don't think I'm getting overworked on the issue, I'm just adding my input. Just because I disagree with the message behind this ad doesn't somehow equate to me hating the advertisement or MFK; as I've said I can see the purpose behind the ad but disagree with it and offered my constructive criticism.
