Yours is most certainly a rutilus as well. Yours has only a gently sloped snout. The lump you see is an artifact of the fact that rutilus have protruding eyes that are somewhat like a crocodile. If you're not looking at them perfectly in profile, they appear to have the curve to the nose like the dwarves.

Yes to the rutilus and probably to the dwarf. We have a hunch that it is a dwarf but we need to actually examine one to prove it

Yes, they do vary somewhat. Color can be a clue, but it is rarely diagnostic.
