  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I actually signed up for the premium service because of how good the regular free service is.

I used Amazon but I don't buy the Prime services (only use Prime when they giving out 30 days free trial), I went through 196 pages of their movies list and less than 10 movies title that I like to watch and ALL those that I watched are OLD movies that worth for me to re-watch them, most new or recent good movies or good TV show you will have to rent or buy whole digital version (each or whole season), free 2 days shipping not good enough for me to bother to pay a whole year of prime membership lol.

Almost everything is worth buying on amazon for me. We live out in farm country so cities are a ways away. No shipping or low shipping charge makes it worth it even when the product is the same price in stores. Gas normally costs more and so does my time. Haha

Prime is good for certain things, if you use it a lot or during the month free trial. I usually only buy fish stuff or normal stuff on there if it's marked down compared to the lfs or at least the same price at petco (petco will match prices from their own website though, done it lots of times). Some of the stuff is pricier than the lfs though so be careful. I did get a decent cake pan on there and some cookie cutters for like 8 bucks too haha.

Prime pantry is overpriced and not worth it IMO unless you can't find those ingredients at the regular or international grocery stores.

They do have a few good tv shows and movies too. Watched a few, they have an app for the xbox, all I have is that, hulu, and a really crappy tv antenna that I can barely pick up the news on. The signal in my apartment is crap, half the time my phone goes dead if I go in the kitchen, must be the way the building is constructed.

Prime is also good during water changes. Hue.

I started Prime with the free 30 day trial, and figured it was good enough to sustain the membership for my family. With the free 2 day shipping, movies, and ebooks it was a good value for us. Now, just looking at all the stuff we constantly buy and how much we save on shipping, it definitely saves us money having the membership.

What I really like about shopping on Amazon are the customer reviews. Many times I will opt to buys certain things over the slightly cheaper similar products from EBay.

I also, just a couple of weeks ago, picked up the AmazonPrime Visa card. It gave me an instant $70 credit towards my son's mini iPad, for his upcoming birthday. Plus, I'll get 1%-5% reward points on ALL my purchases :)

What?! Hmm... I might have to look into that.

I love the reviews. It's how I really pinpoint what to get. And I try to do my part in leaving reviews and answering questions. The free shipping saves my family so much.

What really sold me on that credit card is the 2% on gas and restaurants and 5% on Amazon purchases. I'm going to be cancelling my Citi Mastercard and replacing it with this new card.

That is awesome. 5% could really add up
