Thank You MFK!

Many of you may be shocked, surprised, and even flabbergasted to see this thread coming from me.

But, I really, really think that this community deserves a giant THANK YOU!

I've gotten infractions from here. I've gotten in arguments on here. I've pissed off a LOT of people. And for that, I'm sorry.

Many of you are wondering why this thread is being written, and here's why:

I recently started visiting a forum in which I have belonged to for just as long as I have been here- but I never really post on there.. I made 1 post asking a general question, and it was like I started WW3. To the point that a moderator called me a troll. I would never troll on any forum. That's simply a waste of time. It reminded me of why I don't frequent that forum. Just not my cup of tea.

However different opinions may be on here, we always get along, and always work things out. No question goes unanswered, and no one ever puts you down for asking a question.

I feel as if this forum is full of my friends.. full of people we can share almost anything with, and for that I'm grateful.

I love you all, and I hope that with this new year, the MFK community bond gets even stronger!

I read your thread on the other fish forum (*******************). With the responses you got, I don't blame you for not going back there and posting. If that site is the Future of Fish Forums, then the hobby on the internet is in trouble. It wasn't nice the way you were treated there. I see you took the site owners advice and went back to MFK. Welcome back.

Water Wolves is done. They are no longer running. Wasn't very active anyways unfortunately.

Yeah.. I originally posted to the Mod that called me a troll "how about you just go (insert word) yourself!" but then decided I would just tell him to stop being a bully and leave it at that. He doesn't deserve my time. He's a complete douche, and had no right to say anything like that to me for simply making a simple thread.

Its a pretty good community for sure! Infractions are just part of the forum experience. You either learn by your mistakes or get the boot. End of story. Sometimes its worth the infraction.......I mean you should not break forum rules...I myself dont get on many other aquarium forums. Everything you need is right here!

I used to frequent MFK, Aquaria Central, *******************, Capital Area Cichlids, and Koiphen..

It's now down to MFK, and Koiphen for 99.9% of it all.

I know right!? I kept trying to think about what I said that was so wrong.. but I couldn't pin point it.

All for asking why many people don't use salt.. heh.

LOL Joe. i know we havent seen eye to eye on some things in the past but this is one that we do. ive been banned from that site for 6 mths for questioning certain practices, being friends with greg meceli and saying nice things about the fish he brings in. so yes mhill90 welcome back, feel free to have your own opinion.
