And how exactly do you make the traffic? Just start posting about koi and seeing what kinda responses you get from it?

It's in the health forum.. "why does no one use salt anymore"
My whole reason for posting it was because I've noticed the lack of salt use with many fish issues that have come up recently.. the mod automatically came off as being very pushy and rude. Stated there was not any thread on the first page in that section that didn't mention salt, etc etc..
Was definitely not what I was expecting- but then it reminded me- that attitude is the whole reason I never post on there.

All I can say is I love MFK. If it wasn't for MFK I'd probably still be killing feeder goldfish not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks to MFK in a year I've gone from having 1 10gallon with 2 turtles to having 1 260gallon kiddie pool pond with 4 turtles several gold fish and a shoal of feeder minnows that are slowly getting picked off. 2 55 gallon tanks with Oscars in each that will be getting an 8x4x2' tank here in ~6months. A 30gallon tropical community, and last a 20gallon saltwater tank that I maintain for my grandparents.
I've browsed other forums but I don't really enjoy them as much as MFK. The only ones I really visit on occasion are Aquaria Central and Reef Central for my salty needs. Otherwise I'm on MFK checking posts several times a day I couldn't live without my daily MFK fix.

yeah, this is by far the most friendly forum i've been on, even when noobs ask questions everyone is happy to help em out. not like car forums i go to where everyone just tells you to do a search on the topic instead. so way to go MFK, one of the chillist hobbies on earth.
