and that is just one of a hundred threads like it where someone was treated like that. i didnt fully understand until this weak just how deep it ran until i met or spoke with no less than 5 people including hobbyist, local shop owners, forum sponcers, and forum owners who have faced similar or worse public humiliation and aggression from him and his followers on that site. seems their hurting more people then they are helping these days. its a shame really because their are several really nice knowledgeable people on their with something good to offer. but the actions of a few key people (especially the site owner) can really turn you off from the whole thing. now i see why they have to give away so much free stuff, haha.
my advice to him would be the same thing he told me once. "why dont you take some time off from the site"
 
The mod really got out of control he's a mod after all its not like you attacked anyone. I understand what you mean I've seen a growing trend of fish keepers who frown on salt. I would also sight their are people who practically try to keep their fish in salt water, lol. I've read allot about people who use salt wrongly the same way some use meds. End of day a clean tank resolves so many issues, often if you put a sick fish in a good comfortable pristine quarantine tank you'll get an improvement in his condition naturally without meds so many people push the envelopes of what they can't put in a tank.

MFK is truly amazing the moderators are kind and quick to fix problems or even ban people. my friend was being a troll on my IP (his own account) and he was banned in less than 12 hours! but it did cause a infraction to me though since he was on my IP :(. Also the experience is way better all the people and responding to your posts no matter how ridiculous it may be and pretty easy to navigate! I'm also on a local fish forum and its terrible for chatting asking questions and sharing in IMO but i use it for classifieds which are really good since i don't have to cry about all the great deals like i do on MFK for the ones that are so far away or p/u only :'(
 
I don't even like the look of other forums, Just feels weird hahaha, more props to MFK!!!!!!!!!! now send me a free shirt for my loyalty hahahha JK
