i just did a quick search on the eel and wanted to share this with ya :D..
The electric eel is different from other electric fish in its ability to generate a stunning or even a killing electrical discharge. The electric eel can produce up to 600V in a single dischange -- this is 5 times the shock you would get from sticking your finger into an electrical socket.

now thats gonna make it better tom. know that eh?

come on now, now i have to think about it, thanks it would of been better if i didnt know that. :grinyes: maybe ill just put a finger by him or something. :WHOA: or maybe not at all

to honost i was still gonna do it. but i was gonna have the wife stand by ready for cpr :ROFL: i figured if iraq didnt kill me no little eel better, or i sure hope not :screwy:

ya then im gonna feel ripped off that my eel is a puss. no he prob wont your right. i think they only do it when there way scared i would haft to like grab him hard and try and strech him or something, oh and im not going to do that everyone so dont freak out

Nice pick up ! I'm liking the bass :)

LFS sales person netted an electric catfish, and didn't realized it until he touched it, and he dropped everything on the floor, net and fish :) I don't ever wanna try it regardless. A discovery channel showed some guys wearing rubber gloves and boots, still got a jolt, and it looked like someone was having a seizure...it is nasty !!! I would not try it, IF it was me :lol2:
