A 13 inch Dovii (or any 13 inch fish for that matter) is fine in a 75 gallon as long as it is 18 inches wide. Once he hits 15-16 inches it's time to start thinking about a move. To say a 13 inch fish as a solo "wet pet" is too big for a 75 is ludicrous. To the original question, in a 110 with a RD/Midas and pleco(s), I would say some male cons with cover would work.
i think we settled that;)

Im telling u man nothing is wrong with the tank ph is 7 all the time (same as tap) nitrates are also fine. fish are very healty and i dont cut back on the feeding

I dont want to be mean but the fact that you mentioned that the pH is always 7 shows that you dont know what your testing for.

Yea I wanted a 75 after my 29 but saved a little more and got a 90, I wish now I had saved that money a month longer and gotten the 210 I am thinking of getting and having to break the bank AGAIN. I should have waited.

OMG whats with all the freaking hate? what are we on cichlidforum.com? A PAIR OF OSCARS? THEY NEED A TEN THOUSAND GALLON POND!

Seriously... enjoy your new 110 dude, put your dovii and a RD and at least five other cichlids in there... The rest of you make sure you don't put more than two guppies in a fifty five gallon!

Are you convict_breeder's other account? :screwy:
