I want to thank Jcardon1 for starting the thread below and Danger_Chicken for answering a million questions their thread link is here;

So after listening to Danger_Chicken speak highly of his 10W LED fixture, I went ahead and ordered 4 from ebay form a 100% feedback seller. The 4 lights arrived directly from China in little under 3 weeks. Ask for a deal on 4.

Here's another couple of angles on the lights;

If you order these MAKE SURE YOU ORDER COOL WHITE NOT WARM WHITE WHICH IS VERY YELLOW.

See the JCardona link I began thread with. He and Danger_Chicken get into the details of these lights pretty good.

I originally had 2 Twin Tube 36" Flourescant shop fixtures. They would crap out about every 3 years at a cost of $60. I spent about $100 annually on new bulbs. They used 4 x 36 Watts = 144W x 8 hours a day. These are 10W each for a total of 40w x 8 hours per day. Their rated life is 55,000 hours. At 8 hours a day they would optimally last 18+ years. Here's the old set-up

patience!....it's IN PROGRESS! lol!

I can't take credit for wiring in the new lights....that goes to my good friend Bill Anderson....he's like Spiccoli's Dad...he has the ultimate set of tools and can fix anything!!!!

I am MORE than thrilled with the $110 update. The lighting looks so natural it's like sun rays penetrating the water. it also has the metal halide like ripple. My camera pictures & videos look a little more yellow than it actually is, probab;y from a last leaching from ManzMan wood. Pictures here, video on next reply.
