The 240 Is finally up and running!!!

The more I see that driftwood, the more impressed I am by it.

Ya just imagine having to stare at it for 4 months in a empty tank!! haha

Just started the 3rd 70% water change. I will be done in t-minus 3 hours!!!! haha. Man my water bill is going to be crazy

Is that driftwood one solid piece, or pieced together? I'm just remembering the hot tub shots and I don't remember anything that long in the tub.

And I know the fish usually make the tank, but that driftwood really makes the tank pop. You have me wanting to do some more searching for driftwood before winter gets here. Do you plan on any other structures or caves or plants in there? In my opinion, I'd leave it just as it is with maybe a plant or two. Make that driftwood the centerpiece.

Again, sick looking stuff man, I can't wait to see your fish in there.

Its one soild piece and Yes it fit in the hot tub. That hot tub was 7x7 so it was a tight squeeze. It was also a pain in the ass getting it thought the brace holes. It was like a jigsaw puzzle haha. If the braces weren't there i wouldn't have had to trim it so much and a brace or two broke off while squeezing it in. I do plan on putting a lot of sand stone rock around the stump and some others here and there and also a pant or two the the corner with the stump also. But I havent thought about the plants that much. Have no idea what kind to put in there. But ya the driftwood I think has obviously got people talking haha.

I would rethink the use of sandstone rock. It could leave the water in your tank permantly cloudly, especially with only canisters for filtration. Looks like a Glasscages 240 tank. I have one myself.

I have had the sand stone rock in my bow front and in my dads 55 for a couple of years now and it hasn't done anything to the water. Yes it is a glasscages tank i bought it off a guy selling it on craigslist broken and i repaired it.

ya I plan on picking u a black background in the next couple days once the tank is clear. Ill get it when i start picking up fish
