The 350g is finally set up!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi everyone, thanks for the responses.

Answer time:

I didn't have sand in there because it was a stingray tank before. It did have some black sand in there and all it would get sucked into the intakes for my filters. It is a slate tile bottom. River rock is a great idea! I am going to look into it.

The plants are aquarium systems fancy plants, I used 4-6 of the 4ft asparagus fern and just attached to make longer. They are anchored by rocks in the clay pots.

The stock is all community fish:
The first pleco pictured is a true blue eye pleco
Also have L25, L14, L128, L200, L191, L134, and lots, lots more
5 Red sevrums (Growing them out)
1 roseline barb
4 boesmani rainbows
30+ clown loaches
2 Razorback musk turtles
1 "Mini" Mbu puffer
1 Sae
1 Geo

there are more fish being quarantined that are almost ready to go in....probably next week!

5 roselines,
a couple royal plecos
pineapple pleco
bushynose pleco
8 madagascar rainbows
different types of loaches--kubota?
3 albino cory cats

Egon--sorry bud, you didn't move this one! You helped with the 480g. The drip system is working great, you were right!!!!!!

The blue-eyed pleco is the alpha, the L25 was the alpha before he was introduced. They all seem to get along for the most part. Every once in a while, they will pick on my large royals or L14s....basically they suck the top of their heads. But they always recover. I think the key is to provide lots of hiding spots and separate areas, hence the rocks.

The safety of the rocks have made the clown loaches really active, they are out all the time now!

thats so awesome. im in the middle of building my 190 gallon tank. its 200cm x 60cm x 60cm. I adore the scarlet plecs and want one. ive got 7 clown loaches and a small adonis pleco
