Move everything in the tank the day you add them, and I mean everything.

if you move evreything the others will be completely bewildered! if you want to go that route they may get bloat so do that and soak some flakes in a water/metronidazole in solution and they will not get bloa! kensfish has a very good! price on metro

It's worth discussing... IME I never have any issues. When I move the landscape around they lose their territories and nothing happens to them as far as their health goes. In a few days the a male or 2 pick new spots and chase the other males away.

Anyone else have the same or different experience?

Holy crap thats a ton of rocks. Nice fish !

Bloat from changing the landscape????? I've been keep the TD's for a very long time...never heard of that urban legend before?

They are very much free swimmers and although I have many places for them to hide, rarely do unless they are spooked.

BTW, to the original poster, your guys look great, so does the tank. Future WC's are going to be a pain in the ass.....Good luck!

Nishant Datta...As to adding more, I would add maybe 4 or more at a time and it is a good idea to change the landscape before and add the new fish as late in the day as possible.

Success to keeping the TD's is their diet. Find a high % spirulina flake and suppliment with spinach or romaine.
