Update of my "B"rownies to look back on.

Wish I could have had them all in there but some are leaving, some are beat up, and some haven't passed qt, but most of them are in there.

They were all nice when they got here but from there it's just a gradual downhill slope.

Figuring if I'm going to start messing with the water I'm gonna need something to look back on. If I can't figure it out soon they'll all be rehomed to people that can actually do something with them. :(

The water experiment will start within the next month. Obviously if a breeding group quit breeding then maybe I have a reason why I've had years of crap luck with rays. Maybe the people that think rays can be kept in any kind of water without repercusions need to try some of the good ol liquid rock Iowa water. I've read of 1000+tds readings on a local salt site. Will be intresting to start watching water numbers and finally put an answer to the question that's been haunting me for years..... What the hell am I doing wrong?

Messed up thing is the Falks and blackies get better and better every day. The first mutt's been with me for goin on 2 years now. The midget dark morph Marble in the video is just as bright as ever but has loads of scar tissue from females' tails. Lil lil Bill, my old Pearl seemed to keep pattern as well. Blonde patterns definetly suffer the worse.

what the heck. i only recognise one of them! wheres my stud??????????

never mind..saw him at 3 minutes...phewww

Dark female is in the pond. He flat out brutalized her. She's going on a week without eating. The guy's relentless. :(

Wouldn't you agree they look horrible compared to when they arrived? And the whole no pup thing is still driving me crazy. Seriously ready to loose my mind.

Could water be so high in mineral content that it in turn affects the osmoregulation and in turn cause preggo females to reabsorb the pups?

This would explain where the pups went, and why I see movement and then nothing ever becomes of it. I've seen the things breed and that guy's never been a dad. I just thought maybe he didn't get the job done, but maybe there was more to it?

he biggest female i sent was brutalized?i told you he gets the job done with nearly anything.i recognize the female at the very beggining of the video.i cannot explin what could have happened when i sold out to you, they were in early stages of pregnancy.i assume shipping had somethin g to do with it..wheres the stunner female that give the incredible pups?

btw, they look happy and healthy!

The dark one = she arrived with the stud.

The nice one is the 1st one of your old ones that appears in the vid..... 1:25

The dark one has me worried. She's sickly skinny looking. The nicest is far from plump too. IF the dark one would snap out of it and start eating again I can get the ogre into the pond then I bet they'll plump up.

I watched movement in the nicest one for weeks after she arrived.

Not sure that stud is any match for my ogre. She's mean. And big.

I bet everything will change once the water does.

I sure hope it does for you. You have put in more then enough time, energy and resources into your ray collection, time to collect some benefits!
