hahaha! i just felt like pointing that out
but i voted for lmb. bc i fish tournaments and just love those green fish. but in an aquarium i think a spot would be cool. i love the smb pattern

I THINK..... don't know because I've never kept bass, that I would prefer a SMB or a rock bass. Rockies and SMB's are both great fighters too. I have a buttload of smallies at the local creek. Somehow, everyone but me can catch them....

Just a quick google search, http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/tips/general/how_to_catch_bait_with_sabiki_rigs.htm, but this site gives info on how to use something called a sabiki rig. You need to find one with the smallest hooks you can find. I catch juvie bass, crappie, sunfish of all kinds on these. Not the intended use for the sabiki (intended for baitfish) but resourceful being that the "gamefish" we're after are usually less than 6" and these little "fly" imitations are just the right size for our query.

For Meanness nothing, and I mean no native centrarchid matches the spotted/smallmouth hybrids we have in some rivers, at spawning time theyre ferocious; to keep in an aquarium it would definately be the Ozark Bass (because of theyre unique pattern) or handpaint Bluegill or maybe even a Central Longear.....oh the choices!
Largemouth. My bass just moved into my central american tank and took over. He rolls with my Dovii and already ate a Jag. Largemouth = The Boss.
