Ohhhhhhhhh..... i feel an indoor pond just waiting to happen for this guy!!! Exercise, and fish. Sweet..
I'm glad that you guys mentioned swimming, because I'd planned on putting a 6' x 5' prefab Koi pond in his enclosure.
I'm glad you guys are supportive and giving advice, etc. I'm taking quite the lashing, on another forum, where people haven't the slightest idea about reptiles. One guy even told me that he knew what he was talking about, because he'd cared for a 25' long, 300lb Burm. I told him I'd like to see pics of that because I speak quite often to Bob Clark and he owns the largest Burm in the world, and she's only 23'. lol
I'll try to get pics up and going every chance I get. I'm like a lot of you...I want pics as progression goes...I don't want to wait forever, to get 1000 pics at once. lol

You may want to go into the forest and cut down a small tree for that beast to climb around on! They are semi-arboreal correct? I'd LOVE to see some pictures of it in the basement once it is finally in there.
Where are you keeping it for now? How is its temperament? He looked like a sweety when you were touching him but I've been told Crocs are very temperamental to say the least. Chain mail gloves anyone?

They are arboreal, yes. I have already aquired large (4' circumference) trees, that will be placed in the enclosure.
He's currently being kept in a 10' L x 6' W plywood enclosure we built for his temporary home. When we're home, he's out and about, with us. When we're gone of sleeping, he's in his hide.
We weren't supposed to pick him up until his permanent enclosure was done, but the previous owner called me yesterday and insisted that I was going to take him, I had to come get him right that instant. That's why we made the 250 mile round trip and didn't get home until after midnight, last night.
His temperment is exceptional. He loves to be rubbed and he'll climb up into your lap, if you're sitting in the floor. This kind of interaction will not continue once he moves into his permanent home. We know he's not a lap dog, nor a "pet" and we're not going to treat him as such. He'll still be handled, but just not to the extent at which he is now.
Like I said earlier, you may want to look into a set of chain mail gloves because leather is not gonna cut it anymore lol
Good luck with him man! Lets hope he loses all that fat for muscle, maybe you should buy him a Bowflex
