I really want to keep a large monitor, only thing thats stopping me is that my house is just too small! Even for an 8'x4' enclosure like something for a tegu, I do not have room.

thats one chubby lizard. i never go on this side of the forum, but thats an awesome catch- cant wait to see it in new enclosure.

Eh...if he bites me, he bites me. It's not something I look forward to, but will never be the type that'll guarantee it wont happen. My 14' female Burm is puppy dog tame, but I always treat her with respect, never back down from her when she's grumpy and in return, I've never been bitten...but, wouldn't guarantee it'll never happen.
As chubby as Fatty McFatFat (what I've been referring to him as...only to be given the stink eye, by my girlfriend) is, he's got some massive arms. Looks like the Govenator. When he took a swipe at my hand, he pinned my fingers between his back leg and his side. I'm 6'1" and 180lb...no little guy, but he's so strong, I couldn't pull my hand away. Every time I tried, it lifted his entire body. I just briefly pinned his head down and when he realized I wasn't gonna hurt him, he let go...and 10 min later, I was rubbing his chin again.
