RMS is all bread and butter nothing out of the ordinary really good help and service but not what Im looking for

I also use to work at jhons I loved that place kind of ghetto but best fish for the best prices use to sell 5-7" endli and dels for $35
5" paraya for $30
3" peacock bass for $12-14
they moved to willoughby in the old RMS I use to be just down the street, havent been since the move

Im not all that impressed with Aquarium adventure they had a tig about 6" for almost $1000
I brought in about $1500 in fish one day and left with an analog thermometer that I paid for "took all my fish on donation" as if I had a choice

Looking for freshwater oddballs mostly
and I would just like the store within a reasonable distance of Cleveland

I go to Aquatics and Exotics and Jack's Aquarium and Pets.

Jack's locations are very hit-or-miss depending on the management. I worked at a good location as a summer job for the past two years. Now it's under new management and it isn't necessarily overall better or worse, but it is a little different.

I generally like Aquarium Adventure. The prices are high, but if you join the fish club (I think they dropped the price to $25 for life) you get 25% off fish and once a year they have a 40% off livestock sale and the fish club discount still applies.

I really wanna check out Aquatics and Exotics but it about 5 hours away

There isn't much near you other than what was said. Pets choice pleasent valley rd in south of cleveland had tiger musky and sturgeon before. I think they got more into africans, but they were hit or miss. Prices were always very cheap always half or more than that of the old aquarium adventure.
That real old aquarium plant store in independence had longfin senegals and big ebjd once, but they sell mostly plants.
