if its clear im in the clear ;)

Not True I've seen Nitrate at 200ppm+ with the water crystal clear and even High Nitrite in clear water.....Water Params are what ultimately show if your tank is properly set up example

75gal w/ 1xSen, Lap, Endli, Weeksii, Del, Ctenopoma, ABK and Syno
WC once a week 60%+ feeding Tilapia Krill Bloodworms and Massivore everyday skipping one day a week with AC30, AC50, Mag-250
0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
less than 10 Nitrate,
Yet my water is Yellow...oh wait that is because I have Driftwood....I'm done

i have tons of driftwood, lolz

my fish were mostly juveniles but you tree huggers always jump to conclusions so trolling is sooo easy LMAO

Thought you said you had crystal clear water, the pic shows cloudy.

yea it is was right after i put my driftwood in the tank. i didnt really clean it off either lol. there were bugs all over my fish were eating left and right. most of the wood was already wet so it soaked instantly (thank god)

but there were alot of isopods my fish ate up on the land based parts. it was funny seeing my knifes hunt them

So did the wood make it cloudy or was a bunch of crap stirred up from the bottom of the tank while moving things around?

There is a site that breaks it down for you. Aqua adviser I think it is. They did most of the math for you. It's pretty good well done IMO.

there was so much wood and i didnt know how to go about cleaning it since it was too long for the sink and my dad disconnected the water outside(hose) since there was still frost-risks.

so what i did was get buckets of water and splashed it on the wood. i thought i got most of the heavy crap off but as soon as certain peices of wood hit the water....dirt everywhere. im talking about garden dirt lol

now my tank is cleared up (its been about 2 weeks and two massive water changes since though) ill take an update pic tomorrow!)

By then you'll have done a big WC to hide any cloudy water....

Yes as Said AquaAdvisor is a helpful site but also as said Common Sense is needed, and AqAd is note full proof IE it gave me a Warning a Full grown Afro could eat a Full Grown Congo Tetra....
