Ive seen quite a few tanks set up that way, Ive never really been a big fan of it, although it looks nice and is probably a hell of alot easier to keep clean than this is going to be. There will probably be a medium sized bottom feeder in there at some point to help clean up the uneaten bits of food, and weekly gravel siphoning. Comes with the territory.

LMAO good one :banhim:. A small dude could possibly pull off the "I got a huge tank" deal that way! Just for reference of how big the thing is, im 6ft tall and 210 lbs. before dinner :)

Cant wait! Still waiting on the heater / controler. Its got some help for the cycle, but even seeded it might take this thing awhile. Only water tests will tell. Better safe than sorry, most of the fish that are going in there are not easily replaced.

Thanks bro, coming from you that really is a compliment! Ive seen your stuff :drool:. Yeah these pieces have been at a LFS I go to now and then for quite awhile. I guess no one came along that could use them. Im not done just yet, still going to add some greenery of some kind to give it some color.

Looks good! I would have gone with a bigger sump. I have a 120 gallon sump for my 450 gallon and it does a good job. I just picked up some Lents 5 days ago so when you get tired of yours you can ship them to meeee! How much did it cost you for the whole set up?
