I found a dubia roach supplier in windsor. How much do ackie eat a day?? Can they be a staple diet??

keep them in a aquarium where it is too slippery to climb?? thats what they do in pet stores.
They were talking about crickets, which do have a nasty habit of getting out of almost anything sooner or later. Dubia roaches can't climb, not even out of a plastic tub, let alone a glass tank.
that is a terrible idea. There was a guy arrested here recently for an illegal roach colony of feeders. It is not worth going to jail over IMO.
With this kid being 14 I'm not sure he is responsible enough keeping this lizard. I really hope his parents are up for the job and cost.
You think he got the point by now!!Hei if you don't mind throwing away your $ or you parents do whatever you want! Do you know how agrevating it is to see young kids buying these monitors (dwarfs 7 larger ones) without doing any research.The worst is these poor animals pay with there lives for the mistakes of poor knowledge,husbandary malnurrished!!Come on Kid i would love to see another monitor suceed in captivity,but not in the direction your going! research,research!!!
geez man calm yourself!! i'm doing my research right now. i'm just trying to get every single peice of info off of you guys about ackie keeping!! i'm getting the ackie in May the ealiest so there is always time to research to 110%!! crud! Just cuz i'm "a kid."
