they should be misted daily
very lightly tho is what ive been taught
and ive been doing it for the past 3 beardeds ive had
it helps prevent dehydration
but mostly needed with babbies

I don't. I give my girl weekly baths, since she hydrates by both drinking the water and by water entering her vent.

i guess I'm just confused how this is set up, because that diagram you drew does not follow those crazy laws of physics

Sorry, an airpump wont produce the PSI required to produce mist out of a misting nozzle. In addition, airpumps, even high quality airpumps are not build for that amount of back flow pressure.

I built a system for my over two dozen chameleon cages. Using pressure from a tap, I hooked up a Solenoid valve timer, to a tap, followed by a 1/4" reducer, to my misting line. You can leave the tap turned on and have the timer open as you set it. Or you can open the valve each time you want water to flow.

I have lots of new nozzles to sell if you need em.

u didnt read the whole thread, I rephrased misting to sprinkling a couple posts back because I am not lookin to produce mist. just to sprinkle the tank to keep the substrate moist and such

Moist substrate in a beardie's cage isn't a good idea...

ok i get the point... beardies r not supposed to deal with a lot of moisture... but they do need some right? but ok uve convinced me... ill leave the sprinkley off the beardies cage... ill just spray him once a week... that better?

You could do that, or soak him. Personally, I would soak him. A bath once a week is sufficient, and that will not only hydrate him, but it will also help with shedding. Also, remember: A beardie does not need to drink to get hydrated. They can get hydrated by water going up their vent as well.
